Atop a mixed-use building, the rooftop cooling systems, connected to a ground-level magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) installation, caused complaints from the residents within a penthouse condominium. Noise and vibration measurements were made to compare levels to the provisions of Local Law 113 Noise Code along with recommendations to mitigate the problematic levels.
